Turning public access into a private limited use après ski beach is not a community benefit.....this myopic persuasive argument should fool no-one. The traffic access deficit is not resolved by a paperwork exercise comparing the town of Park City to that of Alta - obvious to anyone who tries to park at the grocery or pharmacy store these days. We deserve better than the mere hope that a paid parking strategy with MORE resort parking will increase bus use by the required amount, and that it will last beyond the initial fanfare of donuts and bagels to promote it. Development proposals must resolve their own issues. This application relies heavily on a series of initiatives and "highlights" set out by the municipal government devoid of assured completion, or successful execution.
