I wasn't able to submit a comment for the presentation by Vail Resorts.
I haven't seen the lines match the wait times more than a few times in my 40 (short) days on the mountain. How can you say the data is good? Not one of my friends, neighbors or colleagues have seen anything different. Doesn't seem like a solid argument at all. Not to mention the new line forecast system that doesn't work. It just doesn't add up. Additionally, I have worked on systems that counted guests entering and exciting different venues in the past and they were not that difficult to configure. This was 8+ years ago so I'm sure the technology has improved.
Also, if the conversion of day passes to epic pass products was 1:1 then share the data because it's REALLY hard to believe.
I do not want to see Vail fail. I want to see you succeed, but your product and experience has been an order of magnitude worse this year than any previous year that I, or anyone I have spoken with, has ever experienced. This is not a Park City only problem, but a Vail problem. https://instagram.com/epicliftlines
